    Know your Why's in business

So what would you do if you had the money to do it?..
    Luxurious Holiday
    Brand new Car
Deposit on a new Home maybe?..
I know what I want and most people know what they want too.
BUT do you know why 95% of people fail at achieving their dreams???

    They forget their WHY's...
    Why am I doing this?
Why did I start this in the 1st place?
Why would I do this for such little return in the 1st few months or even years?

I have to say that remembering your Why's in anything you begin, is the only way to fulfill your end desired goal.
Within the Networking business you will find that many people will come and go, many will have HUGE dreams and aspirations but only a few will stay the length of time necessary to fulfill their dreams.

To help you remember your Why's lets talk about them on this thread.

Why did you start your Networking business?
Why are you still doing it?
    Why would you Never quit?

Why did you start MLM and Network Marketing?

Wanting to know why you started in MLM and Networking Marketing is a key question for your success.
Most people would say "T o be my own boss" or "Be financially Independent" so why do so many forget their Why's so quickly within this industry?
Would you like to tell me your Why's and let's talk about how far away from that exponential growth you are!

My Why's to starting my own business are the same as 12 months ago :-

To work for myself and to be financially independent, the last job I had before the children my boss very much thought he 'owned' me, and I hated that feeling.
I wanted to be my own boss to make a huge difference to my family's life. We were constanlty relying on other people and we were being let down too. My Husband was made redundant three times in three years.

I wanted to make a difference and to show people that I matter, I can make something of myself. I guess in essence I wanted to be in charge of my own life.

When I saw what Avon could offer - I wanted it all, the glory, the money, the dancing on the stage, the Tiffany (I have seen an awful lot of Tiffany bags given out, lol).

How far away from this am I, I am thinking another 12 months and I know that I will make a name for myself within Avon, I now know I need to action more, think more confidently talking to people and to truly believe in not only myself but the people around me.
I have never quit because I have always believed that I was born to do to this job, that from the moment I found it I knew this is where I belonged, its the best job I have ever, ever had. It has not all been a bed of roses, this time last year I had worked my but of and it all came crumbling down but I picked myself up and learnt from my mistakes and I carried on.
Why would I never quit - its the simple belief that one day I can see myself on the stage at Live Your Dream, I can see the House that me and my famliy will live in and the holidays and lifestyle we will have and I know I will work hard to achieve this and I know I can achieve this. I think its because I known the work involved and I have done this before and will do it again.
Money does not make your life whole but my god it makes it better and gives you the opportunity to live an amazing life and I want that.

    What Why's?

    Hello again Emma
I love this post, simply because it is very real and spoken from the heart.
Lots of people are not comfortable for saying those types of things Out Loud because of the fear of what others might think.
Once you get over the fear of others, the world is your oyster.
My next personal goal is to buy our own home and it is going to be a home that will be out of this world. Some may think what I want is a bit extravagant, some may think it's a pipe dream, but I know Why I want my Home and how I am going to get it.

Congratulations on shouting out to the world your WHY's...keep them close to you, especially when you day isn't going as you planned.

    why why why & why!

    I love this thread.
Your reason(s) WHY is what drives you daily to keep going through good & bad until you achieve your why...
its so important to constantly hold the "why" thoughts and surround yourself with reminders..your goal boards. Keeping the whys visual for me helps when we can have they occasional off day! however it also puts a spring in my step each morning looking and thinking about my "whys" gets me off to a productive start. :-)

This is an area many can "forget" when they fall into the dark hole of thinking its time to give up they simply need to remind themselves of the WHYS.
If your WHYS are strong enough and something that matters enough the thoughts of giving up will not occur.
With this in mind each person should visit there reason why and establish whether it is a strong enough reason, do they want/need this why so much.. if not the why isn't good enough and you won't keep going.

when you read any story of successful people its bottom line reason WHY which got them to the success, they held onto the WHYS tightly and with a bulldozer mentality went out and did and did again & again everything it took to get it.
Success is not a destination its a journey. A journey which is not always on smooth roads you'll hit a few pot holes & encounter a few flat tyres along the way however riding up along side you on the journey must be your constant companion WHY.

I think all the successful people I have read about, watched on TV and heard off will be where they are in life because they never forgot WHY they were doing it in the 1st place.

From sports personalities to war hero's and from Doctors to people that devote their lives to helping raise money and awareness for charities, they all never lost site of their why's.

Lord Sugar has a great WHY, and has always had that at the forefront of his mind, even more so now that he is a grandad...

I love the fact that once people "Get it" they really go on to develope on a personal level aswell as on a business level.

Good luck to those that have their Why's out in the open and share it with others and come and ask how to get Your Why's back if you think you may have lost it!

    Wink Why's

I was an Avon District Sales Manager. I loved my job. I didn't like the training I didn't get and my boss that didn't give me help when I asked and provided no motivation. So I left. I joined my husband's Avon business (I had appointed him when I became a manager so he could take over my business) to help him out. I remembered how much I loved teaching the reps (when I was a manager) and my husband encouraged me to start a team. That was 3 years ago. Although I quickly made UL and AUL, I have lost my AUL title twice and having a difficult time getting it back. I know ther are ups and downs and this year has been my down. I'm getting ready to have an up year. I stay doing this business, because I CAN see the big picture - something people in this rural state have a hard time doing. I want to find the people who can also see that big picture and move up with me. I love what I do. I'll never quit because I know deep down I can touch that SEUL title and I know I deserve it. You know, with the downward turn this year, I'd forgotten how much I loved what I did. It's easy to keep spiraling downward. It's harder to get up. But I've gotten up and dusted myself off. Now I'm ready to move forward and upward to a better year.

    2002 to 2012

Your story is very "Real" and I am not a stranger to how you feel.
i have been a sales leader with Avon since 2002 and i didn't get to Senior Level until my 6th year!
In that year I lost my pay at senior level 15 times out of 18!
Last year (My 3rd year at senior level) I lost my senior pay level in the short campaigns. The moral of the story is to know that "Others" are in the same boat as you, you just don't see it!

Keep going, and know that the only successful people in the business are the ones that Never Ever quit!
